Christmas day

As I mentioned in the previous post, Riley slept in until 8ish.  Giving my parents and sister time to come over and be ready for her to come out of her room.  She was slightly groogy but woke up quickly after seeing more gifts.  She loved all of her presents but especially had an awesome time riding the roller coaster from my parents over and over and over.

(my sweet mom still gets us pj's every year and this year she was so happy to have found Riley some Dora pj's only to find out from Riley on Christmas eve "thats not Dora.  Who is that?"  haha.  whoops the pj's were actually some japanese character i guess. )

After breakfast, we loaded us and headed to Kingwood to celebrate with Clay's family.  We stayed the night for the first time since before Riley's birth and Riley had a great time! She enjoyed playing tons with her Mimi, Gramps and Aunt Kate.

Riley was an excellent assistant to anyone opening a gift. :)

Once back at home, Riley wasted no time getting her Papa in on some painting.

And these last few photos are painful for me...for some reason I decided to pull all of Riley's hair back into one ponytail.  (I usually leave it down except for a small side ponytail to keep her bangs out of her eyes.)  Well, she looks soooo old to me here and I have not been able to do her hair like that since :)

Such a wonderful Christmas!!
