One of the many things I love about Clay is that no matter how long, stressful, crazy or busy his work day is, he always comes home with a smile, hugs, kisses and energy for me and our girls! After the initial cheers for daddy (yes, we often wait at the door or by the door to cheer that daddy is home...sometimes it is just a simple DADDDDDYYYYY or sometimes we will chant different things. This idea comes from a wise friend.) Clay will go change clothes quickly and is usually accompanied by one or both girls.
This day, both girls joined Daddy as he had just returned from a 2-3 day business hunting trip. They loved helping daddy unpack!
Oh and just to keep it real, even though I really do work hard to be super upbeat and have all girls smiling and happy when Clay gets home from work, it is not always so sweet and fun....there are meltdowns, timeouts, and times when we are just 'over' the day. Usually these days are mondays! ;)
