I cannot believe it!! 6 months has passed so quickly. Reese is growing and changing so much each day. She has such a precious little personality and we are getting to see more and more of it. Reese is happy the majority of the time but if she gets upset...watch out! :) She got upset with me and my picture taking this month. :( Hence this next picture.

So sad.

Reese still loves being held by mommy the most but is really starting to light up when Daddy is around. And she is still obsessed with Riley; Riley can make Reese laugh so hard and a lot of the time she is not even trying to be funny. It is just so cute!!
Reese just went through about 4 weeks of really terrible sleep. I'm talking there were nights that she was up every hour but most of the time she woke up around 3 times a night. Needless to say, I have been exhausted. We are still not positive what brought this on but I think it was a trifecta of a growth spurt, new milestone (rolling), and teething. So in all my exhaustion Clay has helping with Reese during the early morning shift (6:45-8) and letting me get a little extra sleep. This has been such a blessing!!! Not only to me but to Reese and Clay as well. This time together has been so sweet for them and I can totally tell they have bonded even more. :)
Just this past weekend Reese started waking up only once again and I am so thankful for that!! (just in time too, because my parents watched the girls for us this weekend) And Reese finally cut her tooth, I noticed it Sunday afternoon! It is just a tiny little sliver poking through right now but it's there. We cannot wait to see what her toothy smile looks like! :)
Reese:
-loves to eat! She likes oatmeal, sweet potatoes, and pears best. She likes rice cereal okay and doesn't really like avocado. Next on our list is banana, mango and squash.
-babbles a lot some days and none some days
-can sit unassisted for a few seconds at a time
-loves Mum mums and puffs. She is getting better at getting the puffs in her mouth :)
-sleeps from 7p-7:45 and is now waking once to nurse
-takes 2-3 naps a day, usually one decent morning nap and a very good early afternoon nap while Riley does her "read and rest time", and if we are lucky there is another cat nap in there somewhere.
-wears 6 month clothes
-has so much hair. Very much a party (mullet) in the back.
Our doctor said Reese looked great at her 6 month checkup and Reese took her 3 shots like a champ with only a short minute of tears.
Her stats:
height: 26 inches (56%)
weight: 15lb 4.5 oz (32%)
head: 16.5 in (31%)

Same face! :)

And sweet big sister!

Here was Riley at this age. They are on very similar milestone tracks. :)
