Time flies when your having fun!

Time is flying by!! And we are loving every second with this sweet little girl. She definitely keeps us on our toes! Riley is usually quite content and like most newborns only sleeps and eats, with just a few precious moments of wide awake alertness in between. She is gaining some weight now; we are starting to see creases and the start of a double chin! :) Riley is also starting to get a much stronger neck. She will turn her head and lift her neck often.

Last Friday, July 18th we had Riley's two week appointment. Our pediatrician is so nice, patient, and really takes time to answer all of our questions and concerns! What a blessing this is because we are full of questions. Riley is growing nicely! She measured 19 1/4 inches long (50%), weighed in at 5 lbs 13 oz (10 %) and her head measured 12 3/4 inches (also 10%.) Although 10% may not seem good, this is actually great for Riley because at her first appointment Dr. Shuman said her weight and head measurements were not even on the % curve.
